Role Description

Sales Support - an important and dynamic role that spans the majority of sales cycle - from quote to product delivery and after-sales support, covering a broad range of products and technologies. It is responsible for the day to day management of basic functions of the sales team and is essential for delivering timely and accurate solutions to our clients.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

ICT Sales Support

  • Quote preparation for assigned and unassigned customers
  • Product research for general quotes
  • Licence / warranty Renewal quotes
  • Vendor Deal registration
  • Process Quotes > Opportunity > Sales Order > Purchase Order (supplier)
  • Order progress tracking
  • Goods receipting, outgoing logistics, organise delivery.
  • Stock take and inventory level management
  • Updating and communicating expected delivery times (internally and to customer)
  • Order best route (re-)optimisation (based on price, stock, credit, promo etc)
  • Ticket / project creation from order
  • Licence board management  (recording electronic software licence details and processing)
  • Renew domain names
  • Maintain product database in ConnectWise

Invoicing/Billing

  • Recording correct product and commissions (codes, values)
  • Generating invoices to customer direct with accurate reference details
  • Generating invoices to Telstra for commission / reimbursement reconciliation with accurate reference details
Requirements
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills, and ability to maintain personable and professional relationships
  • IT literacy – understand the basics of IT hardware, software and services
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (English is a must)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Competetent in use of Microsoft productivity software (Windows 10, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Experience quoting and ordering software licencing and hardware
  • Experience using Telstra ordering systems
  • Demonstrated product knowledge and Sales certifications for vendors including Microsoft, HP, Cisco and Telstra.
